The Urgency For Companies To Shift To Social Media For Various Purposes

Companies or people from the70s or 80s realize how technology has reformed the lives of the people. Technology has made a huge difference in how the people lead their daily lives. Since Facebook came into existence, it has taken over everyone. 

Every step a person takes in their life is highlighted on their accounts on various social mediums. People are now considered socially inactive, if they are not active on these internet based social media mediums. Even if a person is an introvert, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube are the first things downloaded on their phone to stay updated with the current status and happenings in the lives of their friends and the world.

As we talk about people, these ‘people’ are the ones which constitute a brand’s major part of the audience. These are the ones who contribute in making the brand what they are or what they could be. This condition makes it a must for a company to have themselves socially active and hire people who are experts at making the company’s ongoing offers and activities more public. SMM (Social Media Marketing) & SMO (Social MediaOptimization) are just two simple ways out of the numerous others for making the company more publicly outspoken so their targeted audience is more familiar with them and are not replaced with a different or newly risen brand who are just socially active and successful making themselves being registered in the consumer’s mind.

These activities have become an integral job for a brand to retain it’s reputation. SMO and SMM does not just mean posting vaguely 100 times each day, but posts which reach out to the targeted audience, that too easily. With Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc being an enormous part of everyone’s life, it’s a must to stay connected with the people of the world through these mediums.
